HR Assistant with data entry /accounts experience

Job Title: HR Assistant
Location: Dubai, AE

Reports To: HR Manager /Finance

Job Summary:

The HR Assistant / Payroll Administrator supports the Human Resources department by managing daily HR administrative tasks and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. This role maintains employee records, assists with recruitment and onboarding, and ensures payroll compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Support

  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding
  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation
  • Support new hire orientation and employee onboarding processes
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Track attendance, leave requests, and employee status changes
  • Assist with performance review administration and HR projects

Payroll Administration

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule (weekly, biweekly, or monthly)
  • Collect, review, and verify timesheets and attendance data
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy
  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and company policies
  • Coordinate with finance/accounting regarding payroll reports and reconciliations
  • Handle payroll-related employee inquiries confidentially

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in HR administration and/or payroll processing
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS software
  • Understanding of employment laws and payroll regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Payroll certification
  • Experience supporting multi-state or multi-location payroll

Work Environment

  • Office work environment
  • Regular interaction with employees, HR team, and finance department

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
