HR Associate/Recruiter

Our mid-sized plaintiff’s Employment and Workers Comp law firm with 50+ employees is looking to hire an experienced and professional Human Resources Associate/Recruiter for immediate hire. We are located in the Downtown/Koreatown area.

Requirements:

  • Trustworthy, discreet, and able to maintain high level of confidentiality at all times
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related degree
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience
  • Knowledge of Federal/California State employment laws and regulations
  • High level of patience and excellent and effective interpersonal communication skills, including verbal written, and listening
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills and overall good judgment
  • Excellent and accurate record keeping
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and efficiently
  • Able to work well under pressure in a deadline driven environment
  • Able to work and collaborate well with others, while being open to new procedures and change
  • Must be quick-thinking, possess common sense, and have the ability to think outside the box
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in legal field a plus

Daily tasks and requirements include but are not limited to:

  • All aspects of recruiting/hiring for all departments, such as searching for qualified candidates, performing initial phone screening, and scheduling and performing interviews
  • New hire paperwork and on-boarding
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Drafting professional and effective correspondence to employees
  • Answer HR related employee questions
  • Respond to any HR related inquiries and/requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor employee attendance (requests for time off, attendance calendar, PTO)
  • Offboarding employees
  • Planning company events/team building and morale exercises
  • Benefits coordinator (medical, dental, vision, 401k)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
