We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our team and lead the people agenda for our greenfield Bag-in-Box facility in Anderson, SC. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in fast-changing environments and is eager to build HR processes from the ground up.
As a member of our Plant Excom, you will be the main contact for on-site business stakeholders and HR matters relating to our business. You will report directly to the GM of BIB Anderson Bag-in-Box with a dotted line to the Divisional HR Director.

Develop and implement HR strategies to support the plant’s successful launch and long-term growth.

Participate in all aspects of a multi-functional HR Department including Compensation, Employment, Benefits, Training, Employee Relations, and Labor Relations under the direction of the General Manager and Divisional HR Director.

Implement a Comprehensive strategy that builds and develops Winning Teams and Pipeline of talent in all Plants.

Lead H&S activities.

Develop a comprehensive strategy with a focus on diversity and inclusion and build a diverse pipeline in our plants with direct hires / promotional opportunities.

Drive staffing needs and retention of the organization including selection, testing, and hiring of employees as well as conducting new employee orientation and onboarding, engagement retention efforts.

Oversee labor relations, employee engagement, and compliance with local employment laws. Experience in union and non-unionised companies is preferable.

Establish HR policies and procedures that reflect best practices and foster a positive culture.

Conduct periodic training on applicable topics including sexual harassment, diversity, and employment law.

Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions in a rapidly evolving environment.

Partner with the team and department to support the tracking of attendance and delivery of attendance feedback. (e.g. feedback and disciplinary action if needed)

Support and participate in the administrative aspects of the human resources function including maintaining records and confidential employee files, providing statistical and regulatory reporting.

Demonstrate compliance with all applicable Federal and State Laws including EEO, FMLA, HIPAA, ADA, and Collective Bargaining.

Measurements of Success: employee Engagement, Attrition, Open Positions, Plant level EBITDA, Safety Metrics & Initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have:

Proven HR experience (5+) in a manufacturing/start-up environment.

Human Resources Certification preferred: PHR, SCHRM-CP
- Experience in designing and delivering H&S activities and initiatives in line with OSHA requirements.

Ability to investigate and assess employee conflicts objectively and solve such issues using a variety of methods and tools, including coaching and conflict resolution.

Strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working with CoE is a plus

Ability to navigate complexity and influence stakeholders effectively.

Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.

Demonstrated experience utilizing online systems/platforms for applicant and training tracking (e.g. Peoplesoft, Avature, etc.)

Bi-lingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
