Job Description:

As an HR Business Partner focused on Employee Onboarding and Employee Relations, you’ll play a critical role in shaping a welcoming and supportive workplace. You'll work closely with business leaders, new hires, and HR peers to ensure our onboarding processes are seamless and that our people feel heard, valued, and empowered.

Onboarding:

• Build and nurture a strong talent pipeline through networking, branding, and relationship-building; Advise hiring managers on best practices.
• Leverage your HR experience to support inclusive hiring, compliance, and onboarding processes. Collaborate with People & Culture teams to align recruitment with broader HR strategies.
• Monitor and improve the effectiveness of onboarding through feedback and data analysis.
• Support the pre-hire screening processes and employee certification processes
• Support the company in maintaining new hire documents for employment and compliance.
• Ensure cultural immersion and engagement from day one.

Employee Relations:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on workplace matters.
• Handle employee concerns with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
• Conduct thorough, fair investigations and support the resolution of conflicts or grievances.
• Provide coaching and training to leaders on employee performance, communication, engagement, and employee development.
• Monitor employee satisfaction trends and partner on retention strategies.
• Host employee engagement events and celebrations of milestones and wins

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to onboarding and employee relations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
• Proven success in sourcing and hiring across multiple functions and levels.
• Experience navigating sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, equitable hiring practices, and general HR best practices.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Open to occasional overnight, in-state travel (likely less than 10 days total per year)

Base Pay Range:

50,000-60,000
