E-Spectra Solar Power is a rapidly growing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company focused on delivering high-impact solar power solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to align our human resources strategy with the company’s ambitious growth goals. The HRBP will serve as a strategic consultant, integrating HR best practices into our business operations, primarily supporting our Engineering, Project Management, and Site Execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnership & Organizational Development
- Serve as the primary HR consultant and trusted advisor to business unit leaders and managers on all people-related issues, including organizational design, workforce planning, change management, and team effectiveness.
- Drive the implementation of key HR initiatives (e.g., performance management cycles, talent reviews, compensation adjustments) within the assigned business units.
- Analyze business data and HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement scores, recruitment efficiency) to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions that improve performance and retention.
2. Talent Management & Development
- Lead the annual performance review and calibration process for assigned departments, ensuring fair, objective, and timely evaluations that link individual performance to business outcomes.
- Identify high-potential employees and collaborate with leaders to create and implement tailored Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and succession plans.
- Facilitate training and coaching for managers on topics such as effective leadership, team building, disciplinary actions, and performance feedback.
3. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting thorough and objective investigations, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and labor regulations.
- Partner with legal counsel and management to ensure proactive risk management and legal compliance, especially for site-based labor laws and contractor management.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive work environment that aligns with E-Spectra's values and commitment to safety.
4. Recruitment & Onboarding Support
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to understand critical staffing needs for EPC projects (e.g., Project Managers, Site Engineers, Design Leads) and assist in defining job specifications and sourcing strategies.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires within the assigned business unit to ensure a smooth transition and rapid integration into the E-Spectra culture and project workstreams.
Qualifications & SkillsRequired
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner (HRBP).
- Industry Experience: Proven experience supporting a business unit within the EPC, Construction, Manufacturing, or Energy/Infrastructure sector is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws, employee relations, compensation practices, and organizational development principles.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred
- Certification: MBA or Master's degree in HR, or professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience with managing HR functions across multiple project sites or remote locations.
