Job Overview
Rock'em is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Employee Relations Specialist to support a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture. This role is responsible for managing employee relations matters, conducting workplace investigations, ensuring policy compliance, and partnering with leadership to resolve employee concerns professionally and fairly.
Job Responsibilities :
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support on workplace concerns, conflicts, and performance issues.
- Document investigations thoroughly and provide clear recommendations to leadership.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances, or misconduct allegations, ensuring fair and consistent resolution processes.
- Collaborate with management to facilitate employee orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives that enhance talent development.
- Provide expert advice on employment law compliance, including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), workers' compensation, and other relevant regulations.
- Assist in managing performance management processes, including employee evaluations, coaching sessions, and succession planning efforts.
- Review and update HR policies to ensure legal compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Facilitate mediation between employees and management when necessary.
- Identify trends in employee relations issues and recommend proactive solutions.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulatory compliance.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proven experience in employee relations, HR management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
