The candidate should have knowledge about various Statutory Compliance, Acts and Labour Laws, Factories act, S&E act, LWF, ESIC ,PF, Minimum Wages, Maternity Benefit Act. etc.
The major job responsibilities would be :
·• Ensure timely and accurate calculation, preparation, and filing of all statutory returns under applicable labor laws, including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, TDS, Shops & Establishment, Contract Labour Act, and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain a compliance calendar for all clients/sites to ensure strict adherence to statutory deadlines and avoid any non-compliance.
- Prepare and submit challans, returns, registers, licenses, and renewals as mandated by law, maintaining proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Handle inspections, audits, and official queries from statutory bodies such as EPFO, ESIC, Labour Department, and other authorities, ensuring proper representation and timely resolution.
- Manage and assist in labour and employment-related cases, including preparation of documents, attending hearings (if required), and ensuring timely compliance with court or department directives.
- Keep abreast of amendments and notifications in labour laws, employment regulations, and payroll-related legislation, and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes across client accounts.
- Assist in drafting and updating Compliance MIS Reports, trackers, and dashboards for internal management and client reporting.
- Coordinate closely with payroll and HR operations teams to ensure seamless integration of statutory deductions and updates.
- Conduct periodic internal compliance audits to identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and strengthen overall governance.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date compliance documentation, registers, and records for all statutory and client requirements.
