Position Summary

We are seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team! As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide HR support to all employees, with heavy emphasis on maintaining positive employee relations. The HR Coordinator is the first line of support to our employees, and outstanding customer service is an essential part of the role. The candidate will also serve as a liaison with other HR functions including Safety, Recruiting, Training, Payroll, and Benefits to manage and resolve issues as well as assist with HR process coordination. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to broaden your HR experience by joining a fast-paced Human Resources department.

Qualifications:

  • An associate degree or bachelor's degree in human resources management, Occupational Health Sciences, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, including recruitment, employee records management, and/or HR data reporting preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, Vlookup/Xlookup, Power Query, Data validation, Conditional formatting, and Creation of Dashboards and HR metrics reports preferred.
  • Bi-lingual with Spanish speaking and writing skills preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all non-exempt payroll
  • Acting as a liaison between employees and insurance providers.
  • Maintain employee files and manage record keeping.
  • Enter data entry for all transactions in the HRIS System including new hires, transfers, promotions, etc.
  • Assist with new hire orientations/conversions.
  • Conduct New Hire Entry process.
  • Conduct all Benefit Meetings with all eligible staff.
  • Process I-9 documentation.
  • Conduct annual Internal I-9 Audits.
  • Support HRBP with Termination process.
  • Respond to Employment Verification requests.
  • Create and run reports as requested.
  • Prepare letters for promotions, transfers, and separations.
  • Ensure that all HR related forms are updated.
  • Coordinate all Attendance related disciplinary actions, emails, and support leadership with DA presentations.
  • Assist in the separation process including scheduling exit interviews and preparing folders.
  • Assist and Support in all Company events.
  • Back up to receptionist in all Badge system needs.
  • Coordinate all Alchemy training as needed by each department.
  • Actively interact with employees to promote safe acts. Leads and influences the organization to drive a proactive safety culture.
  • Promote plant safety by working closely with the EHS Manager to analyze current situations and recommend safety improvements.
  • Analyze incident data to identify trends and incident types that can be prevented.
  • All other duties as needed
