Hilton Ocala is one of four Meyer Jabara properties in Florida; our beautiful 196- room property has 6 spacious event rooms to host a plethora of memorable occasions, as well as our tented outdoor event space.
We are seeking a full time enthusiastic HR Coordinator to support the hotel’s by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Screen potential employees
  • Track training documents
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, vacation, sick, leave of absence and employee assistance
  • Process payroll bi-weekly
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Establish and coordinator employee recognition programs
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Handles employee relations counseling, and exit interviewing
  • Monitors the employee evaluation program and revises as necessary
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Coordinate HR projects (surveys, meetings etc.)
  • Create partnerships with local agencies; community service
  • Consult with department managers to identify staffing needs and preferred qualifications
  • Investigate accidents and prepare reports for insurance carrier
  • Coordinate property Safety Committee meetings
What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two year or higher degree preferred
  • Word, Excel, HR Law, knowledge of HIPPA and FMLA laws
  • Bi-Lingual Preferred
