The Role
Middle East Executive has been retained to manage a confidential search for a Director of Human Resources for a large multinational Facilities Management organization, with one of their global operations in Oman. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will be empowered to shape a high-performance culture and enable business success across Oman. What you'll be doing: HR Strategy & Leadership: - Partner with senior country and regional leadership to develop and execute a forward-thinking HR strategy that aligns with business growth objectives. - Act as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team, providing expert coaching and mentorship on all HR matters. - Lead the country HR function, managing a team and providing comprehensive support for a headcount of over 500 employees. - Drive and manage change in a dynamic and culturally diverse business environment. Talent & Nationalization: - Champion the nationalization (Omanization) program, ensuring the successful integration, development, and retention of the local workforce. - Build a robust talent pipeline through strategic recruitment, succession planning, and targeted learning & development initiatives. - Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall welfare, positioning the company as an employer of choice. Operations & Compliance: - Ensure all HR operations, including payroll, are fully compliant with Omani labor law and company policies. Continuously upgrade HR systems, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency and best practice. - Provide expert coaching and mentorship to senior leaders on all HR matters and play a key role in the business development - process by building strategic client relationships.
Requirements
- Omani National OR Arabic speaker - A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior national HR leadership role, with proven experience in team handling. - Must have experience managing the HR function for a headcount of 400+
