Purpose:
Human Resources Director will plan, lead, direct, develop and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the HR department. They will work closely with company executives and management, managing the HR department budget and coordinating with management to ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.

General Description:
  • Identify, analyze and solve hiring challenges.
  • Mediate and suggest solutions to employee disputes.
  • Compile information regarding compensation and benefits packages based on market data.
  • Collaborate with executives to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, retention, training and culture.
  • Develop and implement policies, processes, trainings, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s HR compliance and strategy needs.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, leave of absences, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, recognition and morale, health and safety and training and development.
  • Oversee medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, worker’s compensation and COBRA submittals.
  • Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices. Modify policies and practices as needed.
  • Develop and implement departmental budget.

  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the company.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or five years of HR management. Master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • SHRM-CP.
