SUMMARY
The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department while ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. This position will provide operational leadership in the areas of payroll administration, employee benefits, leave management, workers’ compensation coordination, employee relations, HR systems administration, and policy implementation.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR leader with strong technical HR knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to develop internal HR staff while building efficient and compliant HR processes across a multi-site healthcare organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess strong operational HR knowledge with the ability to independently manage complex HR processes within a fast-paced multi-site healthcare environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate experience in payroll, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, leave management, HR systems administration, and process development.
This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Strong judgment, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to mentor and support developing HR team members are essential.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to build structure, improve operational consistency, and ensure organizational compliance while partnering closely with leadership to support organizational goals.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
Minimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience required, preferably within a healthcare or multi-site environment.
Experience in payroll administration, employee benefits, HR compliance, leave administration, and HR operations management strongly preferred.
Experience working within or transitioning from a PEO-supported environment preferred.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
