Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies in support of the bank's overall business plan and strategic direction. This senior leadership role is critical in fostering a high-performance culture that emphasises quality, productivity, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are fully aligned with the bank's overall business objectives.
* Oversee all aspects of talent management, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, succession planning, and retention of top talent.
* Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the efficient delivery of HR services.
* Champion a positive and professional work environment, managing employee relations, and promoting a culture of integrity and excellence.
* Design, implement, and manage the bank's compensation, benefits, and performance management systems to ensure they are competitive and effective.
* Identify training and development needs, and create programmes to enhance employee skills and promote career progression.
* Ensure full compliance with Lebanese labour laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks.
* Partner with the senior leadership team to provide strategic counsel on all people-related matters.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an HR Director or in a similar senior HR leadership role, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is highly desirable.
* In-depth knowledge of all HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and organisational development.
* Thorough understanding of Lebanese labour law and HR best practices.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
* Demonstrable strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
