Job Title: Human Resource/ AP /Payroll Manager

Salary: From $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday Business hours, others if needed.

Benefits eligibility for some benefits dependent on full time employment status

Duties:

  • · Establish and maintain a system of financial recordkeeping to include ledgers, recording payments, writing receipts, posting cash journals, prepare and make bank deposits, etc.
  • · Monitor, Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility’s accounting functions under the supervision of the Administrator
  • · Establish and maintain a system of accounts payable, to include invoicing, purchase orders, pay vouchers, check register, ledgers, etc., as necessary
  • · Assist in preparing monthly financial statements to include preparing monthly balance sheet, income and expense reports, etc., as required
  • · Prepare financial and statistical reports as required

  • · Sources and recruits’ candidates using databases, job boards, social media, etc.
  • · Screens candidates and facilitates interview and hiring process
  • · Conduct pre-employment and background screening
  • · Supports facility onboarding and orientation programs
  • · Develops strong working relationships with facility managers and trains/coaches on employee management/development/retention
  • · Creates and maintains all employee files and assures all files are complete per state requirements
  • · Manages payroll process
  • · Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices
  • · Manage Leave of Absence requests and processing
  • · Address and resolve employee complaints

Qualifications:

  • · Experience in the billing role of a nursing home is preferred
  • · Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • · Prior leadership/supervisor experience strongly preferred
  • · Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • · Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
  • · Ability to work well independently AND collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
