The HR Executive is responsible for managing the human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and employee welfare in a healthcare setting. The role involves working closely with hospital leadership, department heads, and staff to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive work environment.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle (advertisement, shortlisting, interviewing, and hiring) for hospital staff, including doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions, employee contracts, and other recruitment documentation.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and formalities are completed.
- Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to hospital policies, procedures, and workplace culture.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns, offering guidance on HR-related issues.
- Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Promote employee engagement programs and foster a positive work culture.
- Support performance appraisal processes, including the creation of evaluation criteria and timelines.
- Assist in identifying and addressing performance issues, including coaching and counseling employees.
- Ensure hospital compliance with local labor laws, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality.
- Prepare and submit reports related to HR functions, including turnover rates, recruitment status, and other HR metrics.
- Coordinate training sessions to enhance employee skills, compliance knowledge, and professional development.
- Track and evaluate training effectiveness and employee participation.
- Assist in managing payroll processes, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Ensure adherence to hospital budget and compensation guidelines.
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for hospital staff by following health and safety regulations.
- Support the management of employee health and wellness programs.
- Coordinate staff wellness initiatives and benefits programs to improve overall job satisfaction.
