Job Title : HR Recruiter
Location : Gurugram, Haryana
Overview: We are looking for an HR Recruiter to manage our full cycle recruitment, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates.Ultimately, you will play an important part in building a strong employer brand for our company to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees.
Responsibilities:
1. Write and Update Job Descriptions
Crafting clear, compelling, and accurate job descriptions is fundamental. This involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand the specific skills, experience, and qualifications required for each role. Recruiters regularly review and update job postings to ensure they reflect the current needs and company culture, as well as to attract the right candidates.
2.Post Jobs to Online Boards and Social Media
Recruiters manage the distribution of job ads across various platforms, including company career pages, job boards (like Indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn), and social media channels. They tailor postings to suit each platform’s audience and often engage with potential candidates through comments or direct messaging.
3. Screen Resumes and Shortlist Candidates
A critical responsibility is the initial screening of resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications. This may include using ATS filters, manual resume reviews, and scoring candidates based on key criteria such as skills, experience, and education to create a shortlist for hiring managers.
4. Conduct Phone Screens and Coordinate Interviews
Recruiters conduct preliminary phone or video interviews to assess candidates’ communication skills, motivations, and cultural fit. They prepare candidates for next steps and coordinate interview schedules with hiring teams, ensuring timely and smooth communication among all parties.
5. Maintain ATS with Accurate Candidate Data
The recruiter is responsible for keeping the applicant tracking system (ATS) up-to-date, entering candidate information, interview feedback, and status changes. Accurate data management enables better reporting, compliance, and candidate follow-up throughout the recruitment cycle.
6. Communicate Regularly with Hiring Managers
Recruiters act as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers. They provide updates on pipeline status, candidate feedback, and any challenges in sourcing. They also advise managers on market trends, salary benchmarks, and candidate expectations to improve hiring decisions.
7. Track Recruitment KPIs and Generate Reports
Monitoring key performance indicators such as time-to-fill, source of hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction is vital for evaluating recruitment effectiveness. Recruiters prepare regular reports to identify bottlenecks, measure success, and inform strategic adjustments.
