Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Executive (HR Operations) with experience in a manufacturing setup. The role involves managing end-to-end HR operations with a focus on attendance, payroll processing, statutory compliance, discipline management, and employee lifecycle administration—especially for blue-collar employees. The ideal candidate must also be highly tech-savvy, capable of handling HRMS tools effectively and training the team for smooth implementation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor and manage daily attendance through biometric or HRMS systems.
- Verify and reconcile attendance data for payroll processing.
- Maintain leave records and ensure correct application of leave policies.
2. Payroll Administration
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions).
- Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursements and Pay slip distribution.
- Ensure accurate statutory deductions (PF, ESI, LWF, Professional Tax, etc.).
3. Statutory Compliance
- Maintain records and ensure timely filing of PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with consultants/auditors for compliance audits.
- Keep management updated on labor law changes applicable to the manufacturing sector.
4. Discipline & Grievance Handling
- Monitor punctuality, discipline, and policy adherence.
- Support grievance handling for blue-collar and staff employees.
- Conduct counseling sessions and issue warning letters/memos when required.
5. Offboarding & Exit Formalities
- Manage employee resignations, clearances, F&F settlements, and exit interviews.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance during exit formalities.
6. Blue-Collar Workforce Management
- Manage worker attendance, OT sheets, shift rosters, and manpower deployment.
- Coordinate with line managers for manpower requirements and contractor workforce control.
- Conduct toolbox talks, welfare checks, and engagement activities for worker retention.
7. HR Technology & Data Management
- Handle HRMS / Payroll software (preferably KEKA, SAP, or similar platforms).
- Generate MIS reports on attendance, headcount, attrition, and overtime.
- Maintain accurate employee personal files and digital databases.
Tech-Savvy Skills (Mandatory Requirement)
- Strong capability to operate, configure, and implement HRMS for attendance, payroll, leaves, and employee records.
- Ability to train team members and ensure smooth adoption of HRMS across departments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, data analytics, and digital tools for automation and reporting.
- Comfortable working with dashboards, HR workflows, and process digitization.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: Graduate / MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent.
Experience: 3–6 years of HR Operations experience in a manufacturing setup.
Technical Skills: HRMS (KEKA/SAP), payroll processing, MS Excel.
Behavioural Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.
Knowledge: Good understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, and factory HR practices.
