Job Summary:

The HR Executive will serve as the primary HR representative for Pakistan, responsible for managing and supporting the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to development, retention, payroll, and offboarding. This includes handling all HR operations, documentation, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with local labour laws and company policies.

The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to uphold the highest levels of confidentiality when handling sensitive HR matters. The HR Executive will ensure smooth HR operations, act as a key liaison between employees and management, and maintain accurate employee records and documentation.

In addition to managing HR for Pakistan, the HR Executive will also support the Group HR Manager in wider HR initiatives across other group companies, including performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement activities. The role will also involve supporting employee motivation and engagement through the organisation of staff events and recognition programmes that promote a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and reference checks.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to define job requirements and maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
  • Post and manage job advertisements across relevant platforms and social media.
  • Conduct the onboarding process and ensure completion of all new hire documentation and orientation activities.

2. Employee Records & HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including performance evaluations, benefits, and related HR documentation.
  • Manage and update HR data systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Process and track leave requests, maintain attendance and leave records, and verify medical claims.
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR files to ensure policy and legal compliance.
  • Handle the HR inbox and respond promptly to employee queries.

3. Payroll & Benefits Administration (Pakistan Only)

  • Manage payroll processing for Pakistan, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, benefits, taxation, and deductions.
  • Verify employee attendance, time records, and other payroll-related data.
  • Address payroll-related queries and ensure timely resolution.

4. Employee Relations, Engagement & Performance Management

  • Act as a primary HR contact for all Pakistan employees, addressing concerns and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws.
  • Coordinate and support the performance management cycle, including tracking evaluations and probation reviews.
  • Plan and organize employee engagement and motivation activities, including staff events, recognition programs, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment that aligns with company culture and values.

5. Compliance & General HR Support

  • Ensure all HR practices and documentation comply with company policies, local labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and HR data.
  • Assist the Group HR Manager with group-wide HR projects, initiatives, and reporting.

6. General

  • Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA in HR is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR operations, recruitment, payroll management, and employee relations.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of recruitment, payroll processing, and HR policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
