Job Title: HR Executive
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Summary
The HR Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end human resource functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, attendance and roster management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and maintaining workplace discipline and cleanliness standards. The role ensures smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience while supporting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manpower planning in coordination with department heads
- End-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection)
- Issuing offer letters, appointment letters, and employment contracts
- Conducting employee onboarding and induction programs
- Maintaining recruitment and joining records
2. Roster & Attendance Management
- Preparing and managing employee duty rosters and shift schedules
- Monitoring attendance, late coming, absenteeism, and overtime
- Coordinating with department heads for shift changes and replacements
- Maintaining attendance registers and biometric systems
3. Leave Management
- Managing employee leave records (CL, SL, PL, LOP, Comp-off)
- Ensuring leave approvals as per company policy
- Updating leave balances and maintaining accurate documentation
- Handling leave-related employee queries
4. Payroll & Salary Calculation
- Monthly salary calculation based on attendance and roster
- Processing payroll inputs (overtime, incentives, deductions)
- Coordinating with accounts/payroll team for timely salary disbursement
- Handling payslips, salary revisions, and payroll queries
- Ensuring statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.)
5. Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Planning and executing employee engagement activities
- Handling employee grievances and conflict resolution
- Conducting feedback sessions and employee surveys
- Promoting a positive work culture and employee morale
- Supporting employee welfare initiatives
6. Performance & Discipline Management
- Monitoring employee performance and behavior
- Issuing warning letters, show cause notices, and disciplinary actions
- Supporting appraisal and performance review processes
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and code of conduct
7. Store / Workplace Cleanliness & Compliance
- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards across store/workplace
- Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance staff
- Conducting regular cleanliness and safety inspections
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and labor laws
8. HR Operations & Documentation
- Maintaining employee records and HR databases
- Preparing HR reports (attendance, attrition, manpower)
- Managing HR files, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Supporting audits and compliance documentation
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and labor laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, and payroll systems
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in HR operations (retail/office environment preferred)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
