Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR and Pricing Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that all human resources and pricing practices align with regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our compliance framework, support financial accuracy, and uphold the company's commitment to transparency and ethical conduct. Responsibilities

  • Oversee adherence to HR policies, including Fair Housing regulations, employment law, and internal controls
  • Conduct thorough internal audits to verify compliance with regulatory requirements, including State and Federal pricing,
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate application of technical accounting standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards).
  • Manage pricing strategies to ensure they meet legal standards and internal policies, preventing fraud and detecting anomalies through rigorous review processes.
  • Support regulatory reporting obligations by preparing detailed documentation for certified payroll on State or Federal projects, All submitted files must be in adherence to the terms and conditions of state and federal contracts.
  • Utilize financial software tools QuickBooks online and QuickBooks Desktop to monitor, analyze, and report on compliance metrics related to corporate accounting
  • Assist in implementing compliance management systems that uphold federal and state regulations, fraud prevention measures and promote transparency across all financial activities.
  • Participate in ongoing training on updates related to state and federal contract pricing, fair housing regulations, anti-fraud measures
  • Maintain comprehensive records of audits, compliance checks, and corrective actions for internal review and external inspections.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounting a strong understanding of financial concepts such as GAAP, TILA, and regulatory reporting standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of internal audits, and technical accounting principles.
  • Familiarity QBO & QB Desktop, NMDWS and Public Works.
  • Familiar with certified payrolls
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
  • Experience using financial software platforms for compliance monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to stay current on evolving regulations related to fair housing laws, HR, anti-fraud measures, auditing standards (GAAS), and other relevant legal requirements.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting findings clearly. Pay: $23.50 per hour
