Title: HR Front Desk Receptionist
Reports to: Human Resources Lead
HR Front Desk Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities:
- Visitor Management: Welcome and direct walk-in applicants, clients, and other visitors to their appropriate destinations.
- Providing Administrative Support: This encompasses a range of tasks like data entry, filing, making copies, and other clerical duties to support office staff.
- Organization: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organized records.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data entry, message-taking, and document handling is crucial.
- Being the Office's Point of Contact: They serve as the central point of communication, directing inquiries and requests to the right people and helping the office run smoothly.
- Handling Inquiries: Receptionists answer general questions from visitors, callers, and employees, providing information about the company.
- Oversee mail deliveries, packages, and couriers
- Set up, break down, organize, and maintain conference rooms, training rooms, and meeting rooms
- Sourcing, phone screening and scheduling interviews for applicants
- Conducting employment verifications and personal reference checks
- Sending preemployment packets for new hires
- Assisting and supporting new hires with onboarding process.
- Requesting, announcing and creating certificates for Employee of the Month winners
HR Front Desk Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience handling office responsibilities, experience in customer service, or related field
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars
- Excellent communication and listening abilities, telephone etiquette, recordkeeping, customer service, and conflict resolution.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment and can multitask when needed
- Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
