The Human Resources employee is responsible for helping with the company’s daily HR tasks, including hiring, onboarding, employee records, payroll information, benefits, compliance paperwork, and employee questions. This position helps keep HR organized, supports employees and management, and makes sure company policies and procedures are followed.

Assist with job postings, applications, interview scheduling, and new hire paperwork.

Help with onboarding and orientation for new employees.

Maintain employee files, personnel records, I9 forms, and other HR documents.

Answer basic employee questions about company policies, payroll, benefits, and HR procedures.

Help collect and update payroll information, including time records, employee changes, deductions, and new hire details.

Assist with benefits paperwork, enrollment, eligibility updates, and employee questions.

Help keep company policies and procedures organized and communicated to employees.

Maintain required HR, safety, training, and compliance records.

Assist with workers’ compensation paperwork, unemployment claims, and leave requests.

Support management with employee documentation when needed.

Help coordinate employee training, certifications, and required safety documentation.

Prepare basic HR reports as requested.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with all employee information.

Provide general administrative support for HRrelated tasks.

Prior human resources or office administration experience preferred.

Strong organization, communication, and followup skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, payroll systems, and/or HR software.

Ability to work with employees, managers, and outside providers in a professional manner.

Experience with payroll, benefits, employee records, workers’ compensation, or compliance paperwork is a plus.

Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or operationsbased company is helpful but not required.
