OVERVIEW
Partner with other Human Resources team members to successfully complete, manage, and maintain various tasks, processes, technologies, and projects within the HR department, including those associated with recruiting and onboarding, benefits, company policies, compliance, separations, performance management, and payroll.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave, payroll, and performance management plans (PIPs)
Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Vice President of Resource Management
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and with recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law
Create and distribute internal communications regarding any HR-related changes or announcements
Monitor employee morale and company culture, using our Mission Statement and Core Values as tools
Provide personnel policy and process/procedure guidance to employees and management team
Participate in and complete employee investigations and other employee relations issues regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment; provide recommendations for action to management at the conclusion of investigations
Maintain company personnel records
Recruit and facilitate the interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand requirements of the open position and interview qualified candidates
Onboard new hires into Paycom and facilitate the initiation of onboarding of new hires for other departments involved in the onboarding process
Complete and provide appropriate reports as requested by other departments
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
PHR, SHRM-CP, or other related certifications a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Paycom
