Job Title: HR Generalist

As we continue to grow, we seek an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and support our HR functions. This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time status, depending on the candidate's experience.
Position Overview
We are looking for a part-time HR Generalist with at least 5 years of experience, including hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and knowledgeable HR professional who can manage various HR responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy development. A key responsibility will be collaborating with management to maintain and update our employee handbook to ensure it reflects current practices and complies with legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Manage the recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection using ADP Workforce Now.
    • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and issues.
    • Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
    • Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
    • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding benefits-related questions and issues.
  • Compliance and Policy Management:
    • Ensure company HR policies comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Work with management to develop, update, and maintain the employee handbook.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all documentation is current and compliant.
  • Performance Management:
    • Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, and development plans.
    • Offer guidance to managers on performance issues and improvement strategies.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of training programs.
    • Facilitate workshops and seminars to promote employee growth and development.
  • HR Reporting and Analytics:
    • Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics to track trends and inform decision-making.
    • Utilize ADP and other HR systems for accurate data management and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role with significant experience using ADP.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
    • Proficiency in ADP and HRIS systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management.
