Company Overview
We are a growing, multi-entity industrial manufacturing and services organization committed to operational excellence, strong accountability, and continuous improvement. We design and manufacture electric industrial vehicles, provide renewal and service programs, and support customers nationwide. We are implementing modern systems including NetSuite ERP, ADP Workforce Now, and ISO-aligned quality processes. We are seeking a highly capable HR Generalist with at least 5 years of experience to support our people, managers, and culture as we continue to expand.

Position Summary

The HR Generalist is a hands-on, detail-focused HR professional responsible for executing the day-to-day HR processes across recruiting, onboarding, payroll administration, employee records, benefits, and compliance. This role ensures consistent HR operations and supports managers through defined SOPs, Work Instructions, and HR programs. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment, has excellent follow-through, and takes ownership of HR accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruiting & Onboarding
  • Manage full cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and offers.
  • Prepare and issue offer letters and new hire packets.
  • Execute onboarding checklists, run background checks, coordinate orientation, and ensure all documentation is complete.
  • Maintain job descriptions, interview forms, and hiring SOPs.

Payroll & HRIS Administration

  • Use ADP Workforce Now to enter new hires, terminations, pay changes, and benefits changes.
  • Audit timesheets, resolve exceptions, and prepare payroll for approval.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and support ADP reporting.


Benefits & Employee Records

  • Handle benefits enrollment, employee questions, and annual open enrollment.
  • Maintain digital and physical personnel files in compliance with HR, legal, and ISO standards.
  • Track PTO, attendance, and performance evaluation deadlines.

Employee Relations & Support

  • Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Support employee engagement activities and internal communications.
  • Assist with investigations by gathering documentation and coordinating next steps.

Compliance, Policies, Training

  • Ensure HR processes follow established SOPs and WIs.
  • Maintain I-9 files, EEO data, OSHA logs, and other compliance documentation.
  • Support training record administration and competency tracking.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, recruiting, payroll administration, and benefits.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now (required).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Comfort interacting with employees at all levels, from shop floor to leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with SharePoint is a plus.

Work Environment

  • On-site position (Clarkston/Scottsdale, GA).
  • Mix of office work and regular interaction with warehouse/manufacturing teams.
  • Requires strong follow-through, dependability, and professionalism.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $68,000 – $85,000 depending on experience and capability.
