At Avride, people are at the center of everything we build. We are looking for an HR Generalist to support the day-to-day operations of our People function in the U.S. and globally through our PEO partners. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth employee lifecycle processes, accurate HR administration, and compliance with employment regulations.
You will work closely with Payroll, Benefits providers, PEO partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure that employees receive timely, accurate, and compliant HR support throughout their journey at Avride. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Drive end-to-end onboarding and offboarding logistics, ensuring a smooth and compliant employee experience.
- Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely administration of payroll data, benefits, and leave management for U.S. salaried and hourly employees.
- Manage HR information systems for the U.S. organization, ensuring proper record-keeping, compliance, and accurate reporting.
- Oversee payroll-related data and coordinate directly with PEO partners for employees outside the U.S.
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation, including:
- Verifications of Employment (VOE)
- Termination and separation documentation
- Visa support letters
- Policy acknowledgments and policy documentation
- OSHA reporting
- FMLA administration
- I-9 compliance and audits
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and internal HR policies.
- Partner with other HR team members, finance, legal, and external vendors to resolve payroll, benefits, and employee data issues efficiently.
- Support audits, reporting requests, and internal HR process improvements as needed.
- 7+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role, preferably in a fast-growing or technology environment.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment practices, including payroll, benefits, leave administration, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience managing HRIS systems.
- Experience working with PEO providers and supporting international employee populations.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and time zones.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving processes and priorities.
