Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing: Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts to ensure timely and efficient onboarding of qualified candidates.
- Onboarding and Training: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring employees have the resources they need to thrive within Bragg Companies.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, addressing questions, resolving issues, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with Bragg Companies’ s values.
- Performance Management: Collaborate with managers to facilitate the performance review process, providing guidance on employee development and helping to address performance-related matters.
- Policy Administration: Ensure compliance with Bragg Companies’ s policies and procedures, maintaining up-to-date employee records and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and support the annual benefits enrollment process to ensure employees maximize their benefits.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance: Collaborate with the safety and operations teams to reinforce safety practices, support safety training, and maintain records in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of HR experience. Working knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and labor law compliance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, ADP, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially. Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification: Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is highly desirable.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the construction, industrial services, or manufacturing industry and familiarity with safety and compliance standards.
- Employment Law and Regulations: Knowledge of California labor laws and OSHA regulations.
Work Environment
- Physical Conditions: Standard office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. May occasionally require standing or moving between office areas.

- Salary: $80,000-$95,000 per year
