What You’ll Do
- Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including drafting job postings, coordinating interviews, and extending employment offers
- Employee Lifecycle Management
- Execute comprehensive onboarding for new hires
- Oversee professional offboarding processes
- Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain accurate personnel records
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws
- Policy & SOP Management
- Develop, update, and administer employee handbooks
- Create and maintain internal standard operating procedures
- Culture, Engagement & Performance
- Help coordinate and administer training programs
- Support managers with performance reviews
- Assist in administering employee recognition programs
- Lead or support engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention
- Benefits Administration:
- Conduct annual and ongoing benefit enrollment
- Administer leave of absence programs
- Human Resources Initiatives
- Serve as an active member of the Adventure Aquarium Engagement Committee
- Support additional HR initiatives as assigned
What you’ll bring
- Ability to work 1 weekend per month
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or related field required
- 2 years related experience; prior experience in recruitment, preferred
- Experience in Training & Development is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential material responsibly
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team
What You’ll Get
- Base salary ranging from $47k-$52k
