JOB STATEMENT
The HR Generalist supports recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, privileging, HRIS, and compliance to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Communicates HR policies and responds to employee inquiries.
- Support employee relations and workplace concerns.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and organizational standards.
- Coordinates recruitment, onboarding, and separation processes.
- Administers benefits and leave management (FMLA, ADA, LOA, Worker's Comp).
- Reviews and audits payroll changes, timecards, and HRIS records.
- Assist with credentialing, provider enrollment, and compliance reporting.
- Prepares employment documents and manages badge/security access.
- Assist with training, HR reporting, and compliance metrics
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Preferred.
- Specialized Training/Certifications: PHR/SHRM-CP, a plus.
- Experience:

4+ Years of HR experience; healthcare/FQHC experience a plus
- Knowledge:

Employment Laws (ADA, Title VII, ADEA, IRCA, FMLA);
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Attention to Detail
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Abilities:
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift 10lbs. unassisted.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between clinic sites.
