HR Generalist

ABOUT THE ROLE

EccentricOne is a growing IT company on Main Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi. We're hiring an HR Generalist who can independently own the full HR function — and work closely with our recruitment team and senior leadership to keep operations running smoothly as we scale.

This isn't a support seat. You'll be the person who handles recruitment, operations, employee relations, and compliance — all from a single desk, without waiting for someone else to decide what needs doing.

If you've spent 2–5 years building genuine HR experience across both hiring and operations, and you're ready to own a function rather than assist one — read on.

Shift: 3 PM – 12 AM | Days: Monday – Saturday | Mode: 100% On-Site Salary: PKR 70,000 – 110,000 per month

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Recruitment (35% of role)

  • Own end-to-end hiring for 3–5 simultaneous roles across technical and non-technical departments
  • Source candidates actively via LinkedIn, Indeed, and Rozee.pk — Boolean search is expected, not optional
  • Conduct structured screenings, coordinate interview panels, and close offers professionally
  • Ensure every candidate — hired or not — receives a professional and timely response

HR Operations (35% of role)

  • Maintain employee records, contracts, attendance, and leave management
  • Own onboarding and offboarding — documented, consistent, and always professionally executed
  • Draft offer letters, appointment letters, warning letters, experience letters, and NOCs
  • Track probation periods and flag upcoming performance review timelines to management

Employee Relations & Compliance (20% of role)

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and workplace conflicts
  • Apply and enforce company policies fairly and consistently across all teams
  • Support managers in handling performance conversations — with proper documentation every time

Reporting & Collaboration (10% of role)

  • Submit weekly HR reports covering headcount, open roles, attendance, and attrition data
  • Work directly alongside our Talent Acquisition Specialist and coordinate with department heads on workforce needs
  • Report directly to senior leadership — no unnecessary layers in between

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

Most HR Generalist roles in Karachi fall into one of two traps — either they're glorified admin positions with no real ownership, or they're stretched so thin across departments that nothing gets done well.

This role is neither. You'll have a defined scope, clear KPIs, direct access to leadership, and a team around you — including a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist — so you're not carrying everything alone. What you will carry is accountability for the HR function. That's the deal.

For the right person, this role is also a direct path to Assistant Manager HR — a position we already have within the team, with a clear benchmark for what getting there looks like.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Must Have — Non-Negotiable:

  • 2–5 years of dedicated HR Generalist experience covering both recruitment and HR operations — whether in one role or across multiple
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment independently — from posting through offer acceptance
  • Hands-on HR operations experience — contracts, letters, attendance, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management
  • Strong English communication — written and verbal
  • Full availability for 3 PM – 12 AM, Monday to Saturday, fully on-site in Karachi
  • Proficiency in MS Office — Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience in an IT or tech-focused company
  • Working knowledge of Pakistan Labour Law
  • Exposure to any HRMS, ATS, or recruitment CRM
  • Experience supporting 30–100 employees as a standalone or near-standalone HR function

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary: PKR 70,000 – 100,000 per month — paid on time, every month
  • Medical Insurance — fully covered by the company
  • Provident Fund — company contribution included
  • Annual Leaves — as per company policy
  • Fixed Shift — 3 PM to 12 AM, permanent schedule, no rotation
  • Career Path — clear progression to Assistant Manager HR based on performance
  • Direct Reporting to senior leadership with no bureaucratic layers
  • Defined KPIs — you'll always know exactly where you stand

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF:

  • You have less than 2 years of dedicated HR experience
  • You cannot demonstrate experience in both recruitment and HR operations — whether in one role or across roles
  • Your background is in Admin, Accounts, Sales, Marketing, or any non-HR function
  • You cannot commit to 3 PM – 12 AM, Monday to Saturday, fully on-site in Karachi
  • You are applying from outside Karachi — no relocation support is available
  • Your salary expectation exceeds PKR 110,000
  • You are currently at Manager HR, Head of HR, or Director level — this role is designed for mid-career HR professionals

Apply directly through Indeed. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 24 hours. Incomplete or out-of-criteria applications will not be reviewed.
