Job Description


Are you an HR professional looking for a hands-on role with real impact? We’re seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in Dallas on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of our team!

You will be a vital part of a collaborative HR team, supporting our employees and leaders across the Dallas and Los Angeles offices.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be an on-the-ground HR resource for our Dallas office and support the Los Angeles team. This is a dynamic, support-focused role where a typical day is varied and hands-on, including:

  • Employee Support: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefit, leave and other HR matters.

  • Performance Management: Support our HR Business Partners and business leaders in handling performance management issues, including helping to draft and deliver Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), nurturing top performers, and Employee Relations.

  • Onboarding & Training: Assist with onboarding new hires and facilitate training sessions for employees.

  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with US employment law, with a specific focus on understanding the differences between Texas and California regulations.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with a great, collaborative HR team, including HRBPs in New York, and the full TA team in Dallas.


Qualifications


What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: Previous senior HR associate or HR Generalist experience.

  • Core Skills: Proven experience with performance management, including writing or delivering PIPs, and a strong background in onboarding and training.

  • Legal Knowledge: An understanding of US employment law, with an awareness of multi-state laws, particularly those in Texas and California.

  • Mindset: An agile, adaptable, and flexible approach. You are comfortable with ambiguity and change, and you thrive on getting things done.

  • Behaviors: You are a proactive and collaborative team player, always ready to help and escalate issues as needed.
