Job Overview:

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience for a small to medium size company in all aspects of HR, particularly in HR law, union/bargaining agreements, Workers Compensation claims and employee benefits coordination.

Responsibilities:

- Maintaining/updating HR policies and procedures

- Maintaining employee records and compliance documentation for union, state, federal and safety agencies

-Developing employee discipline records, creating and implementing personnel improvement plans (PIPs), tracking employee progress during disciplinary periods

- Editing and updating forms, procedure docs

- Compiling documents and records for annual compliance reports

- Overseeing company HR procedures and being point for employee complaint, injury or other legal investigations and claims, etc

- Running point on Workers Comp claims or other safety concerns/claims

- Overseeing employee benefit enrollments, managing health and retirement plan documents and budgets

- Removing employees from enrollment during off board, auditing plans and invoices for accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
