Eagle Railcar is seeking a skilled HR Generalist with a strong background in benefits administration to join our Corporate HR team. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who can step in and contribute immediately, supporting both corporate and field locations with a variety of HR functions.
What You’ll Do:
- Administer employee benefits programs including enrollments, vendor coordination, and compliance reporting.
- Manage leave programs (FMLA, STD, etc.) with accuracy and empathy.
- Act as a liaison with field locations to support general HR tasks such as onboarding, employee relations, and policy guidance.
- Assist with compensation analysis and internal training coordination.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (ACA, COBRA, EEO-1, etc.).
- Collaborate with HR leadership on policy development and process improvements.
What You Bring:
- 5–8 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on benefits administration.
- Ability to work independently and contribute from day one.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) preferred.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
