HR Generalist – Benefits Administration Focus

Eagle Railcar is seeking a skilled HR Generalist with a strong background in benefits administration to join our Corporate HR team. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who can step in and contribute immediately, supporting both corporate and field locations with a variety of HR functions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Administer employee benefits programs including enrollments, vendor coordination, and compliance reporting.
  • Manage leave programs (FMLA, STD, etc.) with accuracy and empathy.
  • Act as a liaison with field locations to support general HR tasks such as onboarding, employee relations, and policy guidance.
  • Assist with compensation analysis and internal training coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (ACA, COBRA, EEO-1, etc.).
  • Collaborate with HR leadership on policy development and process improvements.

What You Bring:

  • 5–8 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on benefits administration.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute from day one.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
