HR Generalist (Bilingual in Mandarin)

Job Overview

The HR Generalist will manage daily HR operations, ensure compliance with California Labor Law, and handle tasks such as hiring, onboarding, training, benefits enrollment, and Workers' Comp. The role requires strong HR knowledge and interpersonal skills to support a high-performance culture and workforce development. We will offer a salary package commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

1. Employee Relations

  • Address employee queries and resolve issues promptly.

2. Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training.
  • Handle job postings, candidate shortlisting, and interview scheduling.

3. HR Policies and Compliance

  • Update and enforce HR policies and company guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain and revise the Employee Handbook and mandatory programs.

5. Benefits Administration

  • Coordinate benefits open enrollment and address employee benefit inquiries.
  • Manage benefits-related documentation and employee requests.

6. Records and Documentation

  • Maintain and organize employee records, benefits, and attendance.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for employment verifications and internal tracking.

7. Government and Insurance

  • Respond to government agency inquiries and handle Workers' Comp claims.
  • Manage compliance with federal and state employment regulations.

8. Training and Development

  • Support departmental and organizational training initiatives.

Note: Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Proficient understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy
  • Fluent in English & Mandarin (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
