HR Generalist – HRIS & Workforce Compliance

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations, workforce compliance, and HRIS processes across the organization. This role plays a key part in maintaining workforce data integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient HR processes for the hospital and affiliated clinics.
The HR Generalist works closely with HR leadership and internal partners to manage employee lifecycle transactions, maintain workforce compliance documentation, support compensation administration, and assist with HR system management. This position is an excellent opportunity for HR professionals interested in developing expertise in HR operations, workforce compliance, and HR systems within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Administration
  • Process and support employee lifecycle transactions including transfers, status changes, and terminations
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within the HR information system (HRIS)
  • Ensure proper documentation is obtained and maintained in employee files
  • Support personnel action processing and workforce record management
Workforce Compliance and Credential Management
  • Support workforce compliance processes and documentation requirements throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Assist with verification and tracking of employment documentation, credentials, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor employee licensure and certification expiration dates and renewal requirements
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready records supporting healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Coordinate compliance documentation with Occupational Health and department leadership as appropriate
HRIS and Workforce Data Management
  • Maintain workforce data within the HR information system (Paycom preferred)
  • Assist with HR reports, workforce data requests, and system updates
  • Support HRIS process improvements and data integrity initiatives
  • Help ensure employee data accuracy and proper HR system documentation
Position Control and Workforce Reporting
  • Assist with maintaining position control and workforce records
  • Support updates to job descriptions, job codes, reporting relationships, and organizational structures
  • Assist HR leadership with workforce reporting and data analysis
Compensation and Incentive Administration Support
  • Assist with compensation documentation and tracking tools
  • Support administration of incentive programs including sign-on bonuses and retention incentives
  • Track service commitments and documentation associated with incentive agreements
HR Policy and Administrative Support
  • Assist with maintenance of HR policies and employee handbook materials
  • Support policy updates and communication when needed
  • Maintain organized HR documentation and records
Manager Guidance Support
  • Provide general guidance to managers regarding HR procedures and documentation requirements
  • Assist with preparing HR documentation when requested
  • Refer employee relations concerns to the appropriate HR team member
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1+ years of Human Resources, HR operations, or administrative experience
  • Experience working with HR systems or workforce documentation
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare or regulated environment
  • Experience supporting HRIS systems (Paycom preferred)
  • Experience with workforce compliance, credential tracking, or HR operations
