HR Generalist – People & Practice Support

If you’re the kind of HR professional who prefers being in the middle of the action—not behind a desk—this might be the role for you.

Bloom Dental is growing across multiple practices, and we’re looking for an HR Generalist who can jump in, build relationships quickly, and help bring our HR approach to life across our teams. This role is less about sitting back and designing policies, and more about being on the ground making things actually work.

You’ll be partnering directly with leaders and teams, helping them navigate day-to-day people situations, while also rolling out and supporting the processes we’re building as we grow.

What you’ll be doing

  • Be the go-to HR partner for multiple practices—supporting managers, answering questions, and helping teams navigate real-time situations
  • Travel to locations regularly to build trust, understand team dynamics, and support where it matters most
  • Help implement HR processes, policies, and systems in a way that actually works for each team
  • Coach leaders through employee relations, performance conversations, and team challenges
  • Support onboarding and training to help new hires feel confident and set up for success
  • Bring consistency across locations while still respecting that every team is a little different
  • Spot what’s not working and help adjust the approach so it sticks

Who you are

  • You connect easily with people and know how to adjust your style depending on who you’re working with
  • You’re not rigid—you understand that sometimes the best solution isn’t the most textbook one
  • You’re comfortable taking direction and running with it, even if you didn’t build the process yourself
  • You like figuring things out as you go and don’t need everything perfectly mapped out to move forward
  • You stay organized and can juggle multiple priorities without getting overwhelmed
  • You’re energized by being out in the field and part of a team’s day-to-day experience

What success looks like
You’re someone our managers trust. Our teams feel supported. And the things we roll out don’t just exist on paper—they actually work in our practices.

This role is a great fit for someone who wants to be part of building something, but even more importantly, someone who wants to help make it real.

Benefits:

  • 401(k)

Application Question(s):

  • In this role, you will often be responsible for executing and implementing HR processes that are NOT already defined. Are you comfortable working in a role where execution of organizational changes are the primary focus?
  • When handling employee or manager situations, which approach best describes your style?

A: I strictly follow policy and prefer clear, consistent rules in all situations
B: I balance policy with flexibility depending on the situation and people involved
C: I prefer to handle situations case-by-case, even if it means deviating from standard process

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Required)
