As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking an HR Generalist & Full-Cycle Recruiter to support and strengthen our workforce. This role plays a key part in recruiting top talent, guiding employees through onboarding and orientation, and supporting day-to-day HR operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and capable of managing multiple HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR program administration. This position is instrumental in helping Midwest Residential build a strong and engaged workforce that reflects our mission and values.
ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates across multiple departments.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates in a competitive labor market.
- Post and manage job listings across recruitment platforms, social media, and professional networks.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and facilitate candidate selection processes.
- Maintain strong communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Onboarding & Orientation
- Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure employees are prepared for success.
- Manage pre-employment processes including background checks, documentation, and onboarding paperwork.
- Ensure completion and compliance of new hire documentation including I-9, W-4, wage notices, and required training.
- Partner with department leaders to support successful employee integration during the onboarding period.
HR Generalist Functions
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Assist with employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to employees and supervisors.
- Support performance management processes including coaching managers on documentation and feedback.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Compliance & HR Administration
- Support the HR department in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, OSHA, and Minnesota employment regulations.
- Support HR reporting, recordkeeping, and data tracking for leadership and operational needs.
- Partner with leadership to implement HR initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, and organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in human resources management with knowledge of talent management practices.
- Familiarity with project management principles and change management strategies.
- Strong understanding of employment laws including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus.
- Administrative experience in HR functions such as payroll processing (ADP, Paylocity) is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
