StatsBomb continually undertake new research and is well-known in the analytics industry for providing unique insights into the game of football. Job Description:


We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our HR Operations team for a 3–6 month internship. During this period, you’ll gain practical experience in personnel administration and payroll processes, supporting the day-to-day HR operations, maintaining accurate employee records, and helping ensure efficient and compliant HR workflows.


Duties & Responsibilities:


Personnel Administration:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee personnel files (contracts, social insurance forms, IDs, etc.).
  • Support in preparing and filing employment contracts, renewals, and amendments.
  • Help track employees’ attendance, leaves, and probation periods in coordination with the HR Operations team.
  • Ensure employee data is accurately recorded on HR systems and updated when changes occur (e.g., job title, salary, or status).
  • Assist in handling employees’ onboarding and offboarding documentation (hiring forms, resignations, clearance forms, etc.).
  • Support in preparing letters, certificates, and official HR documents upon request.

Payroll Support:

  • Assist in collecting and verifying monthly attendance, overtime, and deductions data.
  • Help in preparing monthly payroll input sheets and reconciling supporting documents.
  • Participate in reviewing payslips and ensuring data accuracy before processing.
  • Support the HR team in maintaining records for social insurance and tax calculations.
  • Assist in responding to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Contribute to ensuring compliance with labor law and internal HR policies.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good command of Excel and basic data-handling skills.
  • Eagerness to learn about payroll cycles, social insurance, and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
