HR - IR (Male candidates preffered)
- Oversee completion of all HR paperwork, employee communications, benefits administration, leave & attendance tracking, and management reporting.
- Maintain records and coordinate timely submission of incident reports, workers compensation claims, accident investigations, and return to work documentation.
- Monitor and steer company-wide performance management, provide support for salary planning, and assist in the annual review process.
- Lead HR related projects and initiatives, maintain HR data spreadsheets, and manage regular data distribution as per schedule.
- Draft, review, and update company labour policies; ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory changes.
- Organize and conduct grievance procedures, facilitate dispute resolution involving management, employees, workers, and, where required, government agencies.
- Guide, train and update HR staff regarding procedures for union contract compliance and best practices in knowledge management.
- Advise management on ongoing contract negotiations, labour relations issues, and assist in the resolution of union matters.
- Consult with HR executive team on personnel policies and contract-related matters; create, edit and negotiate union contracts as needed.
- Chair monthly labour-management meetings to foster communication, discuss disputes, negotiate settlements, and ensure a collaborative workplace.
- Prepare, maintain and archive documentation relating to labour relations assignments and collective negotiations.
Core Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, labour laws, safety, and IR best practices, especially relevant for manufacturing, engineering and production settings.
- Experience managing workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and accident/incident investigations in an industrial environment.
- Proven ability to develop and manage HR knowledge resources, centralize policy documentation, and promote continuous learning across HR staff.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with capability to handle grievance procedures, union dispute resolution, and collective bargaining.
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related discipline (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years HR/IR experience in manufacturing, marine, engineering, or similar industries
- Familiarity with Kerala labour laws, worker safety requirements, and marine industry compliance (advantageous)
