We are seeking a dedicated
Labor and Employment Attorney
to provide legal support and counsel on U.S. labor and employment laws across multiple states. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR and leadership teams to ensure policies, employment practices, and workforce operations
remain compliant with federal and state regulations
. This is an on-site role based in New Jersey, requiring strong collaboration and advisory capability.
Key Responsibilities

Provide legal guidance on
U.S. labor and employment laws
, including but not limited to:

FLSA (Wage & Hour)
-
FMLA & State Leave Regulations
-
ADA / EEOC compliance
-
NLRA / NLRB standards
-
Title VII and workplace discrimination laws
-
Draft, review, and update employment-related documents:
-
Employment agreements and offer letters
-
Employee handbook and workplace policies
-
Performance and disciplinary documentation
-
Separation, severance, and release agreements
-
Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements
-
Advise on employee relations matters, policy interpretation, and workplace conduct standards.

Support internal
employment-related investigations
and documentation best practices.

Assist in responding to federal/state agency inquiries or complaints (e.g., EEOC, Department of Labor, state labor boards).

Conduct legal compliance training for HR, managers, and leadership as needed.

Monitor updates to employment legislation and proactively recommend policy adjustments.
Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD)
from an accredited U.S. law school.

Active license to practice law
in the United States (New Jersey bar license preferred or ability to practice in NJ).

3–5 years of experience
in labor and/or employment law within the U.S.

Strong understanding of
federal employment regulations
and multi-state compliance environments.

Ability to clearly communicate legal guidance to non-legal stakeholders.

Strong analytical, documentation, and advisory skills.

Must be able to work
onsite in New Jersey
