Job Overview:
The HR Manager in the chemical industry is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, training, compliance, and workforce safety. The role requires ensuring that HR policies align with industry regulations, environmental and safety standards, and the organization’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled professionals in the chemical industry.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand workforce needs and fill critical roles.
- Manage onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Implement engagement programs to enhance productivity and morale.
- Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and improve HR policies based on insights.
3. Compliance & Labor Law Adherence
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, chemical industry regulations, and environmental health and safety (EHS) standards.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Stay updated on industry-specific HR policies and implement necessary changes.
4. Performance Management & Training
- Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems.
- Identify training needs and organize safety, technical, and leadership development programs.
- Promote continuous learning and career development opportunities for employees.
5. Compensation & Benefits Management
- Administer payroll, bonuses, and employee benefits in line with industry standards.
- Conduct salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation structures.
- Manage health and safety benefits in compliance with chemical industry regulations.
6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Compliance
- Collaborate with safety officers to ensure a safe working environment in chemical plants.
- Promote occupational health programs and risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement employee wellness programs to enhance overall well-being.
7. HR Policy Development & Administration
- Develop and enforce HR policies tailored to the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Keep HR processes aligned with technological advancements and industry best practices.
- Manage HRMS (Human Resource Management System) for efficient data handling.
8. Industrial Relations & Union Handling (If Applicable)
- Maintain good relations with labor unions and negotiate collective agreements.
- Address grievances and disputes while ensuring minimal disruptions to operations.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
