Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team at a prestigious online distance education center. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing human resources functions, ensuring the recruitment, retention, and development of top talent, and fostering a positive and growth-driven work culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for academic and non-academic roles, ensuring the organization attracts and hires qualified candidates who align with the company's mission and values.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, promoting open communication, and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner.
- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, ensuring regular feedback and development plans for employees at all levels.
- Training & Development: Identify employee training needs and work with relevant teams to create learning opportunities that drive professional growth and enhance skill sets aligned with organizational goals.
- HR Policies & Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies and practices in compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Ensure all HR functions adhere to labor laws and organizational standards.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage payroll, benefits, and incentive structures, ensuring competitive and fair compensation packages that align with industry standards.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, morale, and engagement, fostering a positive organizational culture.
- HR Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze HR metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications preferred)
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an HR Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the education or online learning industry
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and confidentiality
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
