Job Description – HR Manager

Position: HR Manager
Department: Human Resources
Location: Chembur
Reporting To: Management / Director – HR

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, and HR compliance.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Manage payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, PT, etc.).
  • Handle employee relations, grievance redressal, and disciplinary actions.
  • Drive performance management system, appraisals, and training initiatives.
  • Maintain HRMS and ensure accurate employee data management.
  • Lead employee engagement, welfare activities, and retention strategies.
  • Support manpower planning and workforce budgeting.
  • Coordinate with management for HR audits, organisational development, and policy updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in HR Management or related field.
  • 5–8 years of HR generalist and managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRMS, MS Office, and payroll coordination.
