Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with over 8 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end HR functions. The ideal candidate should preferably come from a building construction or related industry and be capable of independently handling HR operations, compliance, and workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Assist in hiring engineers, site supervisors, skilled and unskilled labor.
- Coordinate with project managers for manpower requirements.
- Manage onboarding, documentation, and induction processes.
2. Payroll & Attendance
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing.
- Monitor attendance, overtime, leave records, and site-wise manpower reports.
- Ensure timely salary disbursement and issue payslips.
3. Statutory Compliance
- Support compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, PT, CLRA, Shops & Establishment Act).
- Maintain records related to contractors and labor licenses.
- Assist in audits and inspections.
4. Employee Relations & Welfare
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Support labor welfare initiatives at construction sites.
- Maintain positive industrial relations.
5. HR Operations
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Support full & final settlements, resignations, and exit formalities.
- Prepare HR reports and MIS.
6. Site HR Coordination
- Visit project sites regularly for HR coordination.
- Liaise with contractors for labor management and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to company HR policies at sites.
Qualifications & Skills
- MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR or related field.
- Above 8 years of HR experience, 3 years preferably in building construction sector
- Knowledge of labor laws and payroll processes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HR software.
