Job Description – HR Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager for our Agro / Food Products organization to lead and manage all human resources functions. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to end-to-end HR operations, policy implementation, statutory compliance, and employee relations, particularly in manufacturing, agro, or food processing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complete HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, induction, and manpower planning for factory, warehouse, field, and office staff
  • Handle bulk hiring, contract labor, and seasonal workforce requirements
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and SOPs in line with statutory requirements
  • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Oversee attendance systems, shift management, leave administration, and payroll coordination
  • Ensure statutory compliance related to labor laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, Factory Act, and Contract Labour Act
  • Coordinate with plant and operations teams on shop-floor HR matters
  • Drive performance management systems, appraisals, training, and employee development initiatives
  • Lead employee engagement, welfare programs, and retention strategies
  • Handle audits, inspections, and maintain statutory and HR documentation
  • Prepare HR MIS reports and presentations for management review
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to the Managing Director and senior management

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu (spoken and written)
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Female candidates preferred
  • Proven experience in end-to-end HR operations
  • Prior experience in Agro / Food Products / Manufacturing industry preferred
  • Strong organizational and people management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
