We are hiring for HR Manager for Rays Education at Calicut location.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to lead recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations for our rapidly expanding organisation. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a high-growth, multi-location environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring Lead end-to-end recruitment for faculty, counsellors, centre staff, and support teams. Build and manage a strong talent pipeline for new centres. Coordinate campus recruitment, walk-in drives, and online sourcing through job portals and LinkedIn. Ensure timely hiring to support academic and operational requirements.

2. Onboarding & Induction Oversee structured onboarding for new hires to ensure smooth integration. Conduct induction programs covering culture, processes, and compliance. Coordinate with centre heads and departments for role-specific training.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement Act as a trusted HR partner for employees across centres. Address grievances, performance issues, and team conflicts with discretion and fairness. Drive employee engagement initiatives—recognition programs, communication forums, and team-building activities.

4. Performance Management Implement the PMS framework including goal setting, reviews, and appraisals. Support managers in conducting evaluations and developing performance improvement plans. Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development sessions.

5. HR Operations & Compliance Manage HR policies, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and documentation. Ensure compliance with labour laws, Shops & Establishment rules, PF/ESI, and other statutory requirements. Maintain accurate employee records, personal files, and HRMS data.

6. Culture Building & Organisation Development Reinforce organisational culture and values across branches. Support leadership on structure, manpower planning, and HR projects. Promote a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution capability.
  • Strong recruitment experience, especially in fast-paced environments.
  • Good understanding of HR operations, compliance, and labour laws.
  • Ability to manage multi-location teams and dynamic timelines.
  • Fluency in Malayalam (preferred/mandatory based on requirement).
  • Familiarity with HRMS tools and recruitment platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA in HR or related field preferred.
  • 6–12 years of proven HR experience in education, EdTech, training institutes, or service-driven organisations.
