Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws

Ensure 100% compliance with Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act

Handle PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, CL/EL/SL compliances

Manage contract labor compliance (CLRA Act) and contractor documentation

Coordinate labor inspections, audits, and returns

Maintain statutory registers, records, and licenses

Liaise with government authorities and consultants

Payroll & HR Operations

Manage monthly payroll processing for permanent, contract, and trainee workforce

Ensure accurate wage calculations including overtime, incentives, deductions

Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement and statutory payments

Handle attendance, shift schedules, leave, and muster rolls

Maintain HR MIS and payroll reports

Employee Relations & Engagement

Handle shop-floor employee relations and grievance redressal

Drive employee engagement initiatives for factory workforce

Manage disciplinary procedures, warnings, and domestic inquiries

Support safe, healthy, and compliant working environment

Recruitment & Workforce Management

Manage factory manpower planning and recruitment

Coordinate hiring of operators, technicians, supervisors, and staff

Oversee onboarding, induction, and statutory documentation

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of factory labor laws and statutory compliance

Hands-on experience in factory payroll and wage administration

Experience handling contract labor & multiple contractors

Proficiency in HRMS, payroll systems, and MS Excel

Strong negotiation, communication, and people-handling skills
