Responsibilities

* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
* Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other complex issues.
* Nurture a positive and inclusive working environment that promotes employee morale and engagement.
* Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and professional growth.
* Maintain a competitive pay plan and benefits programme, ensuring it meets legal requirements and industry standards.
* Assess training needs to develop, apply, and monitor relevant training programmes for staff.
* Ensure legal compliance throughout all human resource management activities and policies.
* Report to senior management and provide decision support through the analysis of HR metrics.
* Support current and future business needs through the development, motivation, and preservation of our human capital.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar senior HR role.
* In-depth knowledge of US labour law and HR best practices.
* Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics and HR systems.
* A people-oriented and results-driven approach to work.
* Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* The ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
* A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is highly desirable.
* Experience within the technology or environmental sector would be a significant advantage.
