HR Manager- Compensation, Benefits, & HR Operations

JOB TITLE: HR Manager-Compensations, Benefits & HR Operations

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

REPORTS TO: Corporate Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: managing all number-related HR tasks, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and compliance audits. This role ensures accurate compensation, comprehensive benefits programs, and efficient HR operations while supporting positive employee relations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (including, but not limited to):

  • Compensation & Payroll:
  • Administer and process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage all aspects of compensation, including salary reviews, bonus programs, and incentives.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
  • Assist with compensation benchmarking and market analysis.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability.
  • Oversee the 401(k) program, including enrollment, contributions, and compliance.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Liaise with benefits brokers and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, and other benefits-related regulations.
  • HR Audits & Compliance:
  • Conduct regular HR audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Prepare and submit required government reports (e.g., EEO-1, ACA).
  • Assist in maintaining HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
  • HR Information Systems (HRIS) Management:
  • Manage and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for HRIS optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Employee Relations (as it pertains to compensation/benefits/data):
  • Address employee inquiries related to pay, benefits, and HR data.
  • Provide clear and accurate information to employees regarding their compensation and benefits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Required
  • Five years of Human Resources experience required.
