HR Manager - Hybrid work

Job Overview

As an HR Manager, you will lead the end-to-end HR lifecycle (Hire to Retire), establish policies, implement systems, and provide strategic guidance to management.

You should be comfortable working in a start-up environment, taking ownership of building efficient HR structures, and creating a strong foundation for future growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s vision and business objectives.
  • Set up and manage HR processes, policies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Suggest and implement HR tools to improve efficiency and reporting.
  • Build and streamline systems and protocols to support a growing organization.

2. Hire-to-Retire Management

  • Manage the entire HR cycle including recruitment, onboarding, transfers, promotions, offboarding, and exit processes.
  • Handle employee records and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Drive initiatives for employee retention and engagement.

3. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Lead recruitment strategy and selection processes.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify manpower requirements.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through internal and external sourcing.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, pay, benefits, leave, and performance.
  • Foster a positive work environment and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Conduct employee engagement programs to build a strong organizational culture.

5. Performance & Development

  • Design and manage performance appraisal systems.
  • Identify skill gaps and plan learning and development programs.
  • Implement career development initiatives for employee growth.

6. Payroll & Compliance

  • Oversee payroll processing, leave, and attendance management.
  • Manage statutory compliances including ESIC, EPF, Gratuity, Bonus, and Annual Returns.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all HR practices and maintain accurate HR documentation.

7. HR Policies & Tools

  • Develop and update company HR policies and procedures.
  • Implement and manage HRMS tools for efficient HR operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by benchmarking HR practices with industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar senior HR role (5+ years).
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in payroll management, attendance, and leave systems.
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS tools and recruitment platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and set up processes from scratch.
  • Must be comfortable working in a start-up mode with limited systems and have the energy to build HR protocols and processes from the ground up.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,704.59 - ₹25,000.00 per month
